Ethics, Quality, and Equality: Online Global Health Course
Unite For Sight applies best practices in eye care, public health, and volunteerism to achieve our goal of high quality eye care for all. We engage, inspire, and train volunteers to support and assist eye clinics globally both through our hands-on Volunteer Abroad programs and through our campus-based Global Impact Corps.
While making a high-impact difference to eliminate preventable blindness, Unite For Sight is training the next generation of leaders in global health. Our priority is to instill in our volunteers a thorough understanding of sustainable best practice "gold standard" principles in global health and development. While participating in Unite For Sight's programs abroad, our volunteers are immersed in effective, high quality programs that achieve measurable change.
All Unite For Sight volunteers participating in Volunteer Abroad Programs, North America Chapters, and Global Impact Corps are required to complete this Unite For Sight Online Global Health Course. Through this course and hands-on involvement in Unite For Sight programs, our current volunteers and alumni gain skills to effect widespread, fundamental change in global health throughout their careers. Our current and alumni volunteers are deeply involved and invested in being part of high impact solutions to global needs.
Those not currently involved in Unite For Sight are also encouraged to review this important information about global health.
