Surgery & Global Health Online Course
Surgery has not always been considered a global health priority, but the global health community has recently recognized that surgical conditions form a significant burden of disease and have cost-effective interventions. This online course discusses the global burden of surgical disease, surgery in resource-poor settings, surgical workforce and task shifting, as well as the ethics of surgical care in resource-poor settings.
