He has maintained an international interest in Ophthalmology undergoing Clinical observerships in Moorfields Eye Hospital, UK, Wills Eye Hospital, USA, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, USA, Tarabai Eye Hospital,India. As a Unite For Sight volunteer, Dr. Grewal worked with Dr. Sanjiv Desai to provide cataract surgeries and eye camps in Jodhpur, India.
