RETINOPATÍA DIABÉTICA

¿Qué es?

La retinopatía diabética es una complicación ocular que se presenta entre los diabéticos, cuando los vasos sanguíneos que se encuentran en la parte anterior de los ojos se debilitan y se vuelven porosos, lo que hace que se filtre la sangre al ojo. Cabe destacar que el paciente puede que no se de cuenta de los primeros síntomas, ya que en su estado inicial esta condición no afecta la visión.
