High Quality Care For All: Online Public Health Course
Unite For Sight applies best practices in public health and volunteerism to achieve our goal of high quality eye care for all. In North America, we engage and train our chapter volunteers to connect the medically underserved and uninisured with available free health coverage programs so that everyone can receive quality eye care by an eye doctor.
While making a high-impact difference to eliminate preventable blindness, Unite For Sight is training the next generation of leaders in public health. Our priority is to instill in our volunteers a thorough understanding of best practice principles in public health and community-based health programs. While participating in Unite For Sight's chapter programs, our volunteers are immersed in effective, high quality programs that achieve social change.
Participants in Unite For Sight's North America chapters are required to complete this Unite For Sight Online Public Health Course. Through this course and hands-on involvement in Unite For Sight programs, our current volunteers and alumni are gaining skills to effect widespread, fundamental change in public health throughout their careers.
